How much life is left for the Sun? What will the world be like if the Sun is not alive?

We all know that it is a huge ball of hot gas which continuously generates energy. However, have you ever wondered how old the Sun is and how long will it live?

The answer to this question is - no. The Sun is also a star and like every star, it also has its own age. The Sun is about 4.6 billion years old. Scientists believe that it is still in the middle stage of its life. That is, the Sun has not yet aged.

According to NASA, the Sun is still going to live for 5,000,000,000 or 5 billion years more. Its total age is 9 to 10 billion years. When its age ends, the Sun will no longer be a ball of fire but its brightness will not fade. It will become 2000 times brighter than now.

There is an element called hydrogen inside the Sun. These hydrogen atoms combine together to form helium. A lot of energy is released from this process, due to which the Sun remains hot. After completing its age, the Sun will become even bigger but will be absolutely cold.

When all the hydrogen in the Sun's interior is exhausted, it will turn red. Then it will slowly shrink and turn into a small star, which will be called a white dwarf. The age of any star or planet is determined by its soil and rocks. Then the age of the Sun can also be determined in this way.
