Whether you have a laptop, computer or mobile phone in your pocket. Look at any keyboard and you will never find the alphabets in their correct order. There, it will start with A, then S will be written next to it. Q is written at the top and B, V are next to each other. Have you ever wondered why these letters are written like this?

The format currently used in the keyboard is called the QWERTY format. Letters of the English alphabet are written on each key. Letters are not written continuously following this special format.

Actually, the QWERTY format used on the keyboard has been in use for many decades. This format was born much before the birth of computers, that is, it came in the era of typewriters.

Actually, typing the same letter repeatedly caused the needles of the typewriter to get entangled, due to which fast typing became difficult. In such a situation, the letters were arranged in such a way to make typing convenient and easy. In this way, the letters that were repeatedly joined got separated from each other.

Many unsuccessful experiments were done for this and after this, in the 1870s, the QWERTY format was chosen as the standard format. This arrangement reduces the risk of the needles of the typewriter getting stuck.

If you find this post useful then share it with others so that they also get benefited from it.
